June skincare favourites

Hey loves!!!

With the weather changing recently, it is really important to look after our skin, and this month I’ve gone back to an old favourite Liz Earle. I have oily/combination skin and with the heat my eczema can often flare up so I have gone back to basics with a simple morning and night-time skin care routine using products that are infused with naturally active ingredients.

I have found a hidden gem in Micellar Water, and this oil infused water from Garnier is amazing at prepping my skin for the cleansing process. Now I know it’s oil infused and I have oily skin but, this one doesn’t dry out my sensitive skin out unlike others.

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is filled with naturally active ingredients of Rosemary, Chamomile, Cocoa Butter and Eucalyptus Essential Oil to cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin making it smoother and clearer. I like that it is thick in consistency and smells amazing.

The Instant Boost Skin Tonic has ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Calendula, Cumber, Rose-scented Geranium and Vitamin E to revitalise, smooth and tone my skin giving it a radiant glowing look. This toner is so refreshing, non drying and with no alcohol which is something I find common in toners. This is perfect for calming sensitive skin.

With ingredients such as Borage and avocado oil, Echinacea, Beta-Carotene and Vitamin E, the Skin Repair Light Moisturiser for combination/oily skin gives my face life! It makes my skin feel smoother looking and gives it a brighter appearance. It is very light and pumps out in small doses so you are able to control the little amount that comes out and not layer the cream on too thick. A little does go a long way!

With Apricot Kernel, Borage and Rose-sented Geranium Oils and Comfrey, every now and again I will use the Liz Earle Intensive Treatment Mask to refresh my skin and start the weekly cleansing process.  Almost like using a sulphate shampoo once a month to remove build up lol.

The Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer is not only cooling, but it retivalises, soothes and tones my skin making it more radiant. I like to use this as a pick me up if I feel my skin is dry, dull or if I am feeling tired. It is all infused with naturally active ingredients.

It is a known fact that your skin will feel and look healthier if you take care of yourself from the inside first, but with these product my skin feels healthier, it looks healthier, feels fresher and looks more vibrant without any effort at all.

Let me know if you have tried any products from the Liz Earle range, if you want me to try out any brands for oily/combination skin, and tell me your favourites and what you think.
